Part I - Print Design

The first part of the dedication was the Print design. I produced three unique pieces, which included a 4x6" Save the Date card, a 5x7" Invitation, and finally a custom-sized program with a hidden false-pocket and an inserted booklet relating to the self guided tour (see signage below).

We used soft touch and silver accents on the Invitation and the Program-- the Save the Date was printed digitally, and the invite as well as the cover of the program were printed offset.

One of the motifs repeated throughout the work are the patterning that represents the detailing of the building. The main gray and blue building was a cell pic I took of the building at night-- from there, I developed custom patterning based on the unique windows and the building elements themselves, including the grates that filter air during chemistry experiments. These elements of the building formed the basis of the event branding.

Part II - Signage

I designed various Vinyl wall clings for the dedication event itself. This involved measuring the space independently and working a vendor to produce each of these items. This included three 6x6.5ft hexagons that featured statistics about the building, and a 13x2ft vinyl wall cling thanking the donors. This last sign was particularly tricky, as it had to correspond with the anatomical models underneath the sign.
